Tokyo International Progressive School has a scholarship program to help those who are in need of financial assistance. Please read below for general information about the program and the application process.
Eligibility: Scholarships are available for new and returning students whose parents are solely responsible for education expenses and require financial assistance to meet these expenses. Scholarships are NOT available to students whose tuition is paid, in part or whole, by their parents’ employers or other sponsoring organizations.
Tier 1 Scholarship Award:
School Development Fee (For grade 11 and grade 12 enrollments): 600,000 yen → 300,000 yen (before tax)
2023-2024 Academic Year Scholarship Tuition: 2,689,600 yen → 2,346,100 yen (before tax)
Tier 2 Scholarship Award:
School Development Fee (For grade 11 and grade 12 enrollment): 600,000 yen → 300,000 yen (before tax)
2023-2024 Academic Year Scholarship Tuition: 2,689,600 yen → 2,346,100 yen (before tax)
Educational Enhancement Fee :200,000 yen → 0 yen (before tax)
Application: A new application form is required each year of enrollment. Families should submit one application on behalf of all their enrolled children. All information provided on the application is confidential. Applications must be completed and submitted by the deadline to be considered.

◾️ Any other documents to help us to determine your suitability for our scholarship program (optional)
Our scholarship funds are limited. In the process of determining to grant scholarships for similar financial cases, the scholarship committee may consider the students’ academic achievement within their abilities, behavior at school, and involvement in co-curricular activities along with parent participation in the school community. Notification: The decisions of the scholarship committee which includes the Principal, the Board member in charge of Finance, and the Office Manager are confidential and final. Information regarding scholarships will be sent to applicants by the end of April. Returning students who have applied for scholarship assistance will not be billed until the scholarship committee has notified recipients of awards.
