On Thursday April 28th, the grades 4,5 and 6 students received a diploma from the Non-Violence Project Japan. Over the last few months, the students have been learning various lessons on conflict and what we can do to solve conflicts in a non-violent way. Through understanding conflict and applying our knowledge to the world around us, we realized that it is extremely difficult to stop violence. However, we have also learned that there are various things we can do to take a step closer towards a world without violence. For example, understanding people's needs when they feel a certain way, trying to find a solution where both sides can "win", and also being a good listener. Thank you Mr.Morimoto and Ms.Kinugawa from Non-Violence Project Japan for visiting our last NVP lesson today!
