Staff Spotlight: Mr. Jermaine Daz

Mr. Jermaine Daz joined TIPS in January, 2019. He is currently a shadow teacher, our movement therapist, and a member of our PE staff.

“If everyone had the chance to work with special needs kids at least once in their lifetime, the world would be a better place. I am very blessed to be part of TIPS. All the teachers have genuine hearts to help the students learn. For me, it is one of the best schools in Tokyo for understanding uniqueness and differences. Students always motivate me to be a better person and remind me that there is always something to be thankful for in life."

Mr. Daz has been working with individuals with special needs for almost 20 years. He is a registered Occupational Therapist from the Philippines.
