Japanese Language and Culture Program Field Trip for High School Students

High school students spent a productive and fun day at the Cup Noodle Museum in Yokohama on December 6, invited by Ms. Kimoto’s Japanese Language and Culture program.

We attended two workshops. The first was a highly detailed instructional workshop consisting of mixing noodle dough by hand and cranking a noodle machine until perfectly formed ramen emerged, ready for the friers.

The second workshop allowed us to decorate our noodle packages and combine soup and topping ingredients to customized our instant noodles. It was a stunning winter day that provided a beautiful view of Yokohama’s seascape.
